Owners: Joe Bagley and Lisa Peterson

New World Sports has come to exist by the hard work and imagination of Joe Bagley and Lisa Peterson. Joe and Lisa have created a mobile resource for tours, bicycle rentals and mountain bike instruction. They are aware of how similar businesses flourish in other areas around the world and view Northern Colorado as a growing tourist destination with the same potential. They both share a dream of becoming Northern Colorado's most well known 'Adventure Outfitters'.

With Joe’s guiding, teaching and training experience and Lisa’s organization, coaching and business background they make a top notch team called New World Sports.

Both of them enjoy offering people the experience of a lifetime. "We watch people crawl out of their shells and experience things they never thought they could do". They also enjoy showing people some of their own backcountry secrets yet to be explored by the masses.

Joe Bagley has spent his entire life in Colorado experiencing almost every aspect of an adventurer's lifestyle. Joe is a semi-pro cross-country and ultra endurance mountain bike racer with over 10 years racing experience. He trains year round in Fort Collins and travels the world with an adventurous spirit. "I am always trying to find out why people travel to exotic destinations and how to enjoy it like the locals do". He sees the Northern Front Range as a nest egg in the mist of hatching. "We have hundreds of miles of trails that are accessible by bike, foot and in some cases 4 wheel drive vehicle".

Lisa Peterson moved to Fort Collins from South Dakota. She was searching for the outdoor lifestyle and found it on the Front Range. Lisa enjoys cycling, skiing, hiking and exploring this fantastically fun state. She is training for more mountain bike races and loves to inspire cyclists with her enthusiasm and tenacity.
